I used a couple of flourish dies from Marianne Designs and then I tried some of the folded embellishments that Desire, one of my DT members does and they always look so beautiful. You can find her tutorials here if you would like to try them out. She does a fantastic job of showing you how.

I think the calender says April although it feels like February, and the snow keeps coming. We are hoping it will just be rain now so we can really have spring. But unto my card.... It's Monday and that means another challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner, and this week our challenge is to "Bling It Up" and our sponsor is StampFairy. I have used the April Showers image, colored her with Copics, and cut it out with a Spellbinders die. The polka dots do not come on the image, just right out of my head. I ran the yellow plaid paper through a Stampin' Up embossing folder for some texture (that is very hard to see.) I have cut a corner image of flowers then added some buttons, a bow, and a few Skittles.
Stop over at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and see what the rest of the DT has designed and join in our challenge. Stop over at StampFairy, (they are having a sale right now) and maybe find a new image to work with; there are a lot of cute images there.

I have posted several times since then. Each post shows up on my site as you can see, but does not update with blogger. I would love to know what is happening so I can fix it. Thank you for any help.
