More Christmas Cards

 More Christmas cards I made during my recovery time after surgery.

Simple card using a rose gold card blank from Hobby Lobby and cutting the Ornaments die which is from Spellbinders and Christmas blessings die is from Simon Says Stamp. The background paper is from Michaels.

This card is made using the Tim Holtz die#665579 from Sizzix and cut from scraps of paper from my stash. The Silver is from a silver Hobby Lobby card blank. The Merry Christmas die is from Poppy Stamps.

The last 2 cards are made using papers and cut outs from the years Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit and the Merry Christmas is from Poppy Stamps.

Christmas Cards 2021

 I have been busy making Christmas cards while I have been healing after surgery on my foot. (Healing is going great.) Needing to spend time with my foot being elevated and iced gas me time to do some card making, that I have been missing in my busy life. I have used the Tim Holtz by Sizzix die #665573. Some of the pieces were tiny and made me struggle with glue, but I love the finished product. I made the Santa using different colors of red for more contrast. Some I like more than others. The greetings are assorted dies some from Simon Says Stamp and Sizzix and also a foil sticker I received in a magazine several years ago.

Now that I have them posted, I see I have a couple of belt buckles and buttons to put on yet. Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Ostrich and Egg

 QKR Stampede has a new anything goes challenge. I haven't posted a card I have made for over a year. I am having trouble finding time to. color and make cards and missed it. I have colored the Ostrich and Egg image with Copics and used a Spellbinders die for the foliage, a cross stitch die to cut the image and layered black and brown card stock.

QKR Stampede Challenge #247 For the Guys or Anything Goes

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "For the Guys."  I have colored with Copics and cut using an oval die from Spellbinders. The horseshoes are a die from Cheery Lynn and I added twine and oval dies are used to cut our the computer generated greeting. I had fun coloring this image to look like horses I remember having from my childhood and I did it twice and used very similar backgrounds.

QKR Stampede Challenge #246 Anything Goes

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Anything Goes."  I have colored with Copics and fussy cut.  I have used a stitched rectangle from Lil Inkers and made my own version of a Polaroid photo frame and used designer papers behind it that had sentiments on the paper. This paper was in my stash so I don't remember where it was from.
