Wheeeew!

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Anything but a Square Card."  This is when I struggle the most, I never seem to know what to do instead.  I had the image colored for over a week and just couldn't make a decision.  Then all at once the oval popped into my head and I used a Spellbinder die to cut it out.  Then cut a larger oval in a dark turquoise and mounted it all on an oval card shape.  Inside just reads "Wheeew!" but I wasn't really happy with the lettering I choose so we will skip that photo.   The image I have used is '24127 Long Day' and I colored it with my Copics of course.  I think this is the perfect shape for the bunny.  Not sure why it took so long to come to me.  Oval or egg shaped for a tuckered out Easter Bunny just seemed to please my eyes..

    So very cute. Love the coloring. I looked at that challenge and thought, oh no! I never make a shaped card. After seeing yours I may try an oval.

    You do these images so well...I love this and just had to chuckle when I saw it. Wonderful coloring and excellent choice with the oval die cut. Hugs, joann
