Love

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring another challenge and this one is over at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge and the challenge is "One For the girls."  I have used Bella Bride and colored her with Copics.  Everything done is shades of pink, which I think of as "girly."   I have added butterflies made with Cheery Lynn Dies, added some bling, pink ribbon, and a stick pin.  The greeting is from a magazine ad (I'm thinking a Fiskars ad) but not sure.
So head on over to Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge and check it out and make sure to stop at Sassy Studio Designs and get a new image to color.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.  I will be entering this card in the following challenges...

Buttons

It's Time for another Challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and this week it's BUTTONS.  Our sponsors are Bugaboo and SK Digis.  My first card is this colorful Kindergarten Graduation card and this image is "Girl Crayon" from Bugaboo and I have colored her with Copics.  My papers are from my stash and I added a computer generated greeting and the buttons and just like that it's finished.  I think this would make a Kindergarten graduate happy.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges...
Papercraft Star - Buttons
Nutcrafters - Cute & Girly
Send A Smile 4 Kids - Anything Goes for Kids
Crafty Catz - Cute as a Button

And now for my next card I have used SK Digis image called "Birdhouse with Bird on Top" and it is also colored with Copics.  My buttons are the center of the flowers.  My greeting is a play on words and I have punched it with a Stampin' Up punch and added a bow.  Another quick and easy card.

Head on over to Tammy's Scrapin Corner and see what the rest of the DT has created and join in this challenge.  It should be an easy one.  And don't forget to add GDT after your name when you link up for a chance to be our guest designer.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.  I will be entering this card in the following challenges...

Going Forward...Looking Back Blog Hop & Release

Sassy Studio Designs is having a 2 Day Blog Hop to show the most recent releases.  If your following along you should have come from our fab guest designer Julia's site.  Didn't you love what she did with her image?   I have used the new image called "Ursula".  If you remember Ursula for The Little Mermaid she didn't look like this beautiful Ursula.  I have colored her with Copics and all in shades of blue, because she is supposed to be a sea witch.  So my thoughts were the ocean is blue and she comes from the ocean.  Any way I have added a few blue Skittles to look like bubbles and a design punched using an EK Success punch.

From here you will go on to see what the talented Christine has done with her image.  I know you will enjoy it.  Make sure you leave a comment on everyone's blog because you might win a prize.   Our challenge was to use 1 or more of our favorites from this list.
Favorite Sassy saying or sentiment
Favorite tool to use
Favorite paper
Favorite sketch
Favorite technique
Favorite style
Favorite color
Favorite brand
Favorite embellishment....ribbon, flower, bling, mesh etc...
The favorites I used were my Copics of course and I love the blues and to cut out my images.  I also like to use a punch or die cut. The other part of this Hop is the look back and remember our favorite card from last year.  I have 2 favorites.

Thanks for looking and have a great day, and don't forget to leave a comment.  I love to hear from you.
Here is the whole list for the hop just in case you need it.

Baby Card & Envelope

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring a challenge at Party Time Tuesday.  The challenge is to decorate the envelope.  I have used the "Greatest Gift" colored with Copics and a new die set from Lea'bilities.  I have made a card and matching envelope.

I have used a tag punch I have had forever and a computer generated sentiment and ribbon from Stampin' Up for my greeting. The heart die is from Joy Craft.

Sorry my photos are a little dark; I have problems if it's overcast and no time to wait for better light this time.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.  I will be entering this card in these challenges...

Come Be My Valentine

It's time for another challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and this week we have 2 sponsors.  This week's challenge is to use Hearts and/or Red and our sponsors are Kenny K and Eureka Stamps.  My first card uses the fabulous "Mae Western" image by Kenny K and I have colored her with Copics.  I have punched the edges with a Martha Stewart Around the Page set and punched a few hearts in 2 sizes.  Then put it together on this twisted easel card.  I am quite happy with the results.  This is my first try with a twisted easel.
I will be entering the following challenges with this card...

Little Red Wagon - Repeated Shapes
Crafts 4 Eternity - Punch It
Charisma Cardz Challenge - 2 Punches
Paper Crafting Journey - Anything Goes

The second card uses the "Filagree Heart" image from Eureka Stamps.  I printed my sentiment and then covered it with removable tape and then printed the image over it and removed the tape.  This was something new to try also.  It is mounted on red and more pink cardstock with a layer of white that has  been punched with an EK Success punch.  There are a few mulberry flowers with Skittle centers and no coloring on this one.
Now hop on over to Tammy's Scrapin Corner and see what the rest of the DT has created and join in the challenge.   If you add GDT after you name you have a chance of being our guest designer next week.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.  I will be entering the following challenges with this card...

Sweet Pea Stampers - Clean & Simple

Let It Snow

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring a couple more challenges this week, and they are Lady Anne's Challenges - "Anything Goes"  and Love to Create Challenge - "Sparkle and Snowflakes."  I have used  "Snowman Pinup" and colored her with Copics in blues that I thought would give her a "frosty" look.   The paper is from Recollections.  My snowflakes have the glitter already on them and came of the Christmas aisles at Walmart.
It's time to go check out these challenges. Thanks for looking and have a great day.  I will be entering this card in the following challenges....

Happy Birthday

It's time for  another challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and this week the challenge is "Use a Punch."  We are being sponsored by SK Digis and I have used "Cake & Ice Cream" and colored mostly with Copics.  I thought I would try something new and I have added some dimensional paint and just a little Stickles for sparkle.  I have used 2 punches.  The greeting is punched with a Stampin' Up punch and the circle edge is an EK Success punch.  I printed the image twice and cut out the candle, spoon, and cherry and used dimensionals to make them stand out.
Now it time to head over to Tammy's Scrapin Corner and see what the rest of the DT has created and join in our challenge, it should be an easy one this week.  Everyone has a punch laying hiding in a drawer somewhere.  Dig it out and play along.  Maybe you will add that GDT after your name for a chance to be a guest designer for the next week.  Thanks for looking  and have a great day.  I will be entering this card in the following challenges...
