I Always think of You

Tammy's Scrapin Corner has a new challenge and this week it's Monochromatic and the sponsors are A Day for Daisies and Bugaboo.  I have used Sketch Pad Zebra from A Day for Daisies and colored it with Copics and mounted it on a recycled birthday invitation (which is the zebra paper) and a layer of glossy black paper.  Then added a bow and some black & white flowers with added pearls from my stash.  I punched 2 layers with a punch from EK Success for the sentiment that is computer generated and I have another finished card.

Butterflies & Bows

QKR Stampede has a new challenge up today and the theme for this week is Butterflies and Bow.  I have used this great dancing elephant called"14511 In Love."  I made it all pink and girly by using several dies, punches, and bling.  I added a tag, a bow that is laced into the heart, and Stickles on the butterflies that are punched using an EK Success punch.  A Martha Stewart heart punch along the bottom of the card.  The oval is a Spellbinder die and the large heart is from Quick Cuts.

I will enter this card in the following challenges...  Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Sassy September Halloween Hop

Welcome to the Hop and if your right on track you should have arrived here from the blog of  Chris and her great project.   Today Sassy Studio Designs is releasing new images and I have colored the new "Mummy" image.  I think is one of the prettiest mummies I have ever seen.  I have used some ribbon, that reminds me of the wrapping on her, to make the bow.  I added a couple spiders that are cut using a quick cuts die and punched some spider webs using a Martha Stewart punch and added a burlap flower.

Before heading off to your next stop to see the great project Lori has created, make sure to leave a comment for a chance to win this image.  There will also be a live chat on the SSD Party Blog, and you will be able to chat with the Design Team. Thanks for looking and have a great day.

The entire hop list just in case.

Ahoy Matey

Here is a fun fact for you... Today is National Talk Like a Pirate Day and Sassy Studio Designs has a new challenge and it is Ahoy Matey.  I have colored Pirate Penny with Copic markers and added a few embellishments that remind me of pirates.  I ran the brown cardstock through an embossing folder called Henna and added some papers, stamped nautical images, and a bow.  I used Smooch ink for the pearls, and distressing ink, but my photo looks a little more pale than the card really looks.

Thanks for looking and have  great day.

Oktoberfest

Sassy Studio Designs @ Paper Craft Planet has a new challenge up and this month the challenge is celebrating Oktoberfest.  You will be able to pick one of two images and I choose to use Cheers Sassy.  She is colored with Copics and I have added the Oktoberfest image from an Oktoberfest flyer along with the extra leaves and plenty of mugs of beer, of course the beverage of choice at Oktoberfest.  My sentiment says Grisinagott, (which means Good Day) and Bock and Beer; and Bock is a dark beer with a higher alcohol content. Her hat is also cut from that same flyer.  Come join in this fun challenge.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Shabby Chic Birthday

It's Thursday and time for an new challenge at Sassy Studio Designs and this week the challenge is "Shabby Chic."  I have created a birthday card using the Miranda image colored with Copics and added several die cuts for the look of lace.  Then a few roses, a butterfly and a ribbon to make this birthday card for a friend who loves the shabby chic look.  I did use just a touch of distress ink for an aged feel.  I did put a clock face in the corner just to let her know it was time for another birthday,

Happy Halloween

Today I have a card I made to for the Guest Designer spot over at Quirky Crafts.  The challenge over there this week is to make a card with something that moves.  I decided to try this card with the circle that rolls across the page when you tip the card from side to side. I colored some little monster and mounted them on the circle sentiment that reads "Ghouls Just Want To Have Fun" both of these images are from The Cutting Cafe and called "A Bunch Of Monsters" I used this bright green and purple cardstock and punched out cobwebs using a Martha Stewart punch.  I actually stamped a couple of pumpkins and used glitter and black slick paint to dress them up.  Then used that black slick paint to made a large cobweb in the corner.  The Happy Halloween was made using a word art program.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.
