Thinking of You

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Lace &  Pearls."  I have colored this great image "56701 Ribbon Angel"  with Copics in pale blues and then did a little fussy cutting. I have added pearls and lace from my stash and did a ribbon type of cut on my cardstock.  The Thinking of You greeting is from stampin' Up.

Sassy Studio Designs Blog Hop & New Release

Welcome to Sassy Studio Designs Blog Hop &New Release.  You should have arrived here from my Sassy Lil Bro Greg's blog and wasn't his project great?  I have used the Fixer Upper Sentimint, Cupcake Sassy, & Birthday Cake Sassy and colored them with Copics and added a bow and some sparkle papers.  First is the outside of the card and then the "fixed up" inside of the card.  I went for a more simple look this time wanting to make the inside look more fixed up, but embellishments so work on the inside as well s the outside.

Happy First Birthday

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Cards for a Young Boy."  I have used "68017 Happy Duckling" and colored it with colored pencils & Gamsol, and hen cut it out.  I do love my scissors.  I used a birthday embossing folder and yellow card stock, some striped designer paper, a #1 sticker and a circle punch.  I think this image is just adorable.  I am having a terrible time this week keeping track of what day it is, so my post is a little late.

Clean & Simple

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "CAS ."  I have used this great image "15302 Tree" and I have done something a little different this week.  I used a masking tape technique.  So the first thing I did was to tear off 3 pieces of my tape, one for each color of ink.  Then I placed the tape over each ink pad and rubbed across it with a finger.  I made 4 A2-size cards from 1 sheet of card stock so I knew about where I wanted my color to be and placed the inked tape on the cardstock and rubbed across it with my finger again.  Pulling the tape off to reveal the color.  After the ink was dry I was ready to print the image.  Again I printed 4 images and sentiments in the desired area.  After cropping the white cardstock I layered it with the coordinating colors and no other embellishments.  I thought this image worked great for a lot of  different cards and I choose to do sympathy and graduation.   I actually made a dozen cards it went so well.  I used Stampin' Up ink in Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, and Soft Suede and the cardstock is the same colors.

QKR Stampede

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Spring Celebrations."  I have used "17505 Rose" and colored it with Copics.  I have used several layers of pink and gray cardstock.  The butterflies are cut using Cheery Lynn dies and the frame is from Spellbinders. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up and then a bow was added.

Here is a pic of the inside and I added another butterfly.  The color is the same as above but this pic was taken later in the day, sorry it looks so dark.

Face Book Challenge "Pedi Party"

Sassy Studio Designs has a new challenge on the Face Book Page and the challenge is "Pedi Gift Card."  I have used the Pedi image and colored it with Copics and also a little paper piecing on her chair.  I have used a pink and brown combination.  I used a little Stickles on her collar and for the bubbles. I added a ribbon and used the Stampin' Up scalloped tag punch for my tag and the greeting sentiment and punched shape is also Stampin' Up.

#85 Happy Easter

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Easter."  I have colored this great image 24501 Girl with Bunny   with Copics and fussy cut her out.  I used Spellbinder dies to cut the oval and then mounted a another layer of the same paper under the oval for the blue background.  Then a layer of striped paper and green cardstock.  I added the 3502 Happy Easter greeting, a bow, and some light blue candy dots.

Happy Easter

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Easter."  I have used "24213 Tired Bunny " and colored it with Copics and fussy cut it out and mounted it on a die cut from a Joy Craft die and a few layers of papers.  I added a sheer ribbon bow and a swirl of pearls.

Best Wishes

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Ribbons & Bows."  I have printed this great image 31202 Baroque Square on pink paper and didn't color anything.  I mounted it on several layers of cardstock and added the ribbons and ribbon flowers. Then added the sentiment and that fast I have a fished card.

Holy Cow Happy Birthday

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "123 Recipe - 1 image 2 papers 3 embellishments."  I have used "7808 Loving Life" and colored with Copics. I used mostly black and white papers and added some black and pink cardstock.  My 3 embellishments are the paper flower, the bow with a charm, and the white candy dots.  This cow was just too cute to pass by
