Just a quick post today as we are off the play mini golf with the grandson. His birthday is Tuesday and he loves mini golf. My card is titled Just Dance and I have used an image from Mayzy Art and I believe she is called Ballet Dancer, but I'm not sure on that. I have used Copics to color her. The cardstock is Bazzil and the black is punched with an EK Success punch. I have added a bow made from Offray ribbon and added the Just Dance onto the ribbon using "Spare Parts" from the Paper Studio. The ribbon was an inspiration from the Summer Olympics when the girls dance with the ribbon that is not supposed to touch the floor. Now off to go mini golfing, hope you have a great day and thanks for looking.

Ashlee's Prom
Today I have used the image called Ashlee's Prom from Sassy Studio Designs. I have colored her in yellow using Copic markers. I must have been in the mood for yellow lately because it really isn't my usual choice. I gave her a yellow bow and flowers in yellow's that I found in the clearance bin at Michael's. I love the clearance bins. I have added some parchment paper with music, because we need music to dance to for prom. My sentiment and the butterfly are from Stampin' Up and both are punched out with Stampin' Up punches. My card stock is Bazzil. Thanks for stopping by for a look.

Happy Birthday in Yellow
I have a quick post today and it's another birthday card. I am always in need of little girl birthday cards, (lucky me because they seem to be easy to please) and this image works great for a girl card. It is Marion from Mo Mannings. I have used Copics to color her and her kitty in shades of yellow. The background paper and cardstock is from Recollections. The bow and flowers are from a clearance bin at Michael's. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up. I feels bright and cheerful to me, so I'm sure she will be pleased with it.

Happy Birthday in Pink
This was such a fun image to color, and just as cute as can be. She is Odette from Mo's Digital Pencil. I have colored her in Copics. She is mounted on Stampin' Up Razzelberry Cardstock that has been cut with a Spellbinders Die. I have also used Recollections paper and come brown cardstock. I have punched the cake and gifts with an EK Success punch. The finishing touch is my sheer ribbon bow and I have used Zing embossing powder to heat emboss Happy Birthday onto the ribbon.
Here is a close up of the Happy Birthday on the ribbon, which melts very easily. I had to try a couple of times to get it readable without ruining the ribbon. I had to keep the heat tool moving, and I think the wave is ok. It didn't curl up into a ball like the first tries. My granddaughter and the neighbor girl have just started ballet and the neighbor girl's 7th birthday is coming up soon. I hope she loves it. I am adding it to the linky party at Make it Monday and Whoopsi Daisy - Make it Girly, Thanks for looking.
Old Truck x 2
Wow, have I been having fun coloring lately! I have a few new images and have been experimenting with new colors. Today I have 2 cards that I made using the Old Truck 2 Image from Digi Doodles Shop. This month everything was on sale for $1.00 so I had to have a few new images. Both are colored with Copics (E30, E31, E32, E33, & E35 & C0, C1, C3, & C7) and mounted on several layers of Recollections papers and cardstock in the fall colors or browns and rusts. The first card has a sentiment from Tim Holtz and a lock washer I found in the hardware store. I thought this would work well for someone traveling or relocating to a new area.
The second card uses the same colors for the truck and just a few different papers from the same collection of Recollections. I have punched a few leaves from another Emaginations punch I have had for several years. It's always great to get a little more use from the tools we have on hand. I have a piece of a rust velvet paper ribbon I found at a thrift store, and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up. This version I tore the edges around the image and gave them a little distressing with some Stampin' Up Crumb Cake ink.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Trick or Treat
I have a card that is made using fall's beautiful colors of golds, oranges, and browns, not really a Halloween card just a fall card. My image is Download Diva from Kenny K's and she is colored with Copics. The cardstock is from Bazzil and the paper is from the Paper Studio. The ribbon is from Michael's. The leaves are an old punch from Emagination. The pumpkin is from Recollections and is stamped with embossing ink and embossed with Zing embossing powder. The Greeting is a stamp from Craftsmart. She has been finished up just in time for the challenge at Kenny K's Krafty Krew - Autumn Hues and Tammy's Scrappin Corner - Fall Inspiration
Thanks for stopping by to look.

Soldier Always
Another post already, and that is because I spent most of last weekend coloring and this week I have been putting the cards together. So today I have a card using Mo Mannings Soldier Boy. I have used Copics and just made areas of color to look like camouflage. The background papers are from Paper Studio. The ribbon is from Michael's, the stars are brads from my stash, and the sentiments are from Declassified.
My grandson has a birthday coming up and he wants a Marine card just like this, so I think I can just change a few things around and have a birthday card that will make him happy. I am entering this card Mo's Digital Challenge -- Anything Goes

You Make Me Happy
This post is a card using something other than the usual fold. I made it for the Dare to be Sassy --Challenge Fancy Folds and to try for a Guest Designer Spot I am also putting it in the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge -- Got the Blues. The card is 6 inches square and folds from corner to corner, and then opens up to be 18 inches from 1 point to the other. I have tried to get a couple of photos showing how the card opens. I have used the Sassy Studio Designs image called Beach Resort Sassy. This is one of the images I won from a previous challenge. I have added some roses
that I have ran a blue marker just lightly around the edge to match the color of her swimming suit. The greeting is a freebie I printed from a Pinterest post. The bow is Espresso ribbon from Stampin" Up. I also thought I would use the left over area after diecutting an oval from another card. That is the outside and on the inside I have used about the same papers but I also stamped some flip flops and sun glasses from a set of children's foam stamps. Here are a couple more views.

Hello
Good Morning, I have another card ready. This one is done up in pink. I have used the Harley and Haley image image from Saturated Canary. She is colored with Copics and cut out using a Spellbinders die. I used the little trick where you cut around an area to have it stay outside the die cut. I like to print my images and color; then make them fit the card and lately I have but printing my images to large for the dies I have. Good thing this trick works and looks so good. One of my granddaughters just started dance class and I could just see her dressing up a pet to have a cute dance partner. Good thing we don't have any little pigs. She was dancing around with a feather boa and a few of the feathers fell off and I thought they would go great on this card. So they have landed right behind my image. I also have a couple of
Scallops made with my EK Success punch, that are just barely visible behind the feathers. The background is a black paper with pink polka dots. My sentiment is computer generated. I have added a few buttons and a tulle flower. Enjoy your day, I'm off to do the dreaded housework, maybe I will rush through it and be back. I am going to enter this one in the following challenges

I'm Missing You
Wow what a long day. I have been home long enough to get the camera hooked up to the computer and start the photo downloading, but no work for the rest of the week end, so just a quick post. Ok make that no work outside the home, I do have plenty of housework to catch up on. But for tonight's card I have am using an image from the Saturated Canary called Ava. She is colored with Copics in pinks and greens, with the hair and eyes the color of 1 of my granddaughters. Brown eyes and a dark blond hair color. I have used an EK Success Punch for the trim on the right side of the card. The sentiment is computer generated and punched out with a Stampin' Up punch. The flowers with rhinestones in the center are from Michael's dollar bins. I have used some Stampin' Up flowered paper and then cut out a few of the flowers to add as trim.

Butterfly Kisses
Here is another card I finished this weekend. I made this card for the Sassy Studio Designs design team call. I would really like to be part of a design team, and of course with such wonderful images, Sassy Studio Designs would be a great team to be on. I have used Carrie and colored her with Copics. I love dark hair and a red dress, such a classic look. Then I'm digging through my paper stash and with a room full of paper, I can't find anything I like to go with the red I used. So I used my Stampin' Up En' Francais background stamp with Early Espresso ink and made my own background. Then added a few tiny butterflies using the same ink and a small clear stamp butterfly that I can't remember where it came from. I have also used a little Tim Holtz tissue tape in browns on the top and bottom. This also has butterflies on it. The large butterfly was made using a Cheery Lynn die. The paper I used was not very think and I was afraid it might not cut well with out any thickness to it, so I used two layers; and there was the thought of which color would I like the best.
I ran it through and when I peeled the two papers about, the red from inside the first butterfly, stuck to the brown one and I loved the way it looked. I think that was a great little accident. By the time I was finished working with it I did have to glue a couple of the tiny red pieces back in place. I have a shear cream bow made with ribbon from Michael's. The die I used for the oval shape is from Spellbinders and I have a few cooper colored pearls around the edges. My sentiment is Sending Butterfly Kisses to My Love, and it went inside because I couldn't decide which butterfly to cover up.
Fancy Congratulations
Wow, has this weekend flown by fast. I did have to spend part of it at work, but I have been able to put in a good amount of time in the craft room too. I have several cards made and went to grab the camera, and just my luck, the batteries are dead. That means make time for a trip to the store and several hours later, I'm ready to go with fresh batteries and here is the first card I have. She is called Fancy and was a freebie at the Saturated Canary site for a short time. I looked and see she is no longer available but Krista does such wonderful images, I'm sure you will find something you like here. It's much easier to get a beautiful card when you can start with such great images; at least that is how it works for me. Here is what I have done. I colored here with Copics, in green colors today instead of my usual pink preference. I gave her a touch of red hair. I was just kind of playing with the colors that I have and I'm not sure how I even came up with the color, but I think I like it. With the green dress & red hair, I decided she needed green eyes, and with a name like fancy she would need lots of bling. I have added a couple of stick pins
and a shear cream bow with ribbon from Michael's, paper roses from I am Roses. The embossing folder used on the green cardstock, the tiny pearls in her hair, the sentiment, and punch used for it are all from Stampin' Up. The die used to cut her out is from Spellbinders. The cream color paper and the pink jewels are from K & Company. I think that covers everything. Thank you for looking.
