QKR Stampede Challenge #128 Circles

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Circles."  I have used "15712 Paper Sailboat & 15715 Sail Away " and colored with Copics.  It is fussy cut and mounted in a circle with a chevron background. The anchor is a die cut from Spellbinders and I added a couple of circle buttons.

Eureka Stamps Birthday Challenge

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Birthday Cards."  I have colored this great image  8805(590) Big n Little Cat with Copics. It is fussy cut, I just love to cut! I have several layers of paper on this one and the sentiment is computer generated and punched with a SU punch.  The chevrons on the bottom of the card are also made using an SU punch and then I added a couple of Skittles to finish it off.

Brown Sugar Bags, Boxes, & Tags

Brown Sugar Challenges has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Boxes, Bags, or Tags"   I have used an image from this week's sponsor "Lacey Sunshine" called "Rory Sailing " and colored it with Copics, fussy cut it and made a tag. QKR Hound Dog

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "CRITTERS."  I have used "Hound Dog " and colored it with colored pencils and Gamsol. I have added  the paw prints using a stamp that I received from my son & daughter-in-law for Christmas.  The greeting is from SU ad so is the punch I used to cut it out. I have used this image several times, & I always love how it turns out.

SSD Sponsoring Tuesday Throwdown

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge at Tuesday Throwdown this week and the challenge is "Metal."  I have used the Sassy Boom Box image and colored her with Copics. I stamped the greeting using a SU stamp and drew the music notes on with a Sharpie. My metal is the Nailhead dots along the sides.  I used Tulip Paint Metallics and had great dots drying.  Then laid a piece of cardstock on top of it and it stuck before I noticed what I had done.  So I tried to add more paint over the top and thought all was well until it tried in the same pattern as before. It could have been a great card. I will try this look again and be more careful.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #128 Birds of a Feather

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Birds of a Feather."  I have colored this great image  56401 Hummingbird Birthday with Copics.  I rounded the corners and punched the purple layer with a Martha Stewart set of punches. Quick card here, well except punching and making it in up was time consuming.

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Lovely Lace ."  I have used "8808 Girl Friends" and colored it with Copics. It was fussy cut and layered on the lace heart die cut.  Which is really called the Sweetheart Frame from Cheery Lynn.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #127 All is Love

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "All is Love."  I have colored this great image  "11704 Checkered Cow" with Copics and fussy cut then added the "Love"sentiment that was a freebie from QKR Stampede last February there is another Love image on the Eureka site it's 104 Love. Not quite the same but it may work for you. I used to clean for an elderly lady and she collected purple cows, and she had over a hundred of them for me to dust. She would chat at me as I dusted so it was all good.  So I just had to do this cow in her honor and memory.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #126 Pink & Red

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Pink & Red."  I have colored this great image  1203(516) Heart Puppy with Copics and fussy cut & 14707 (514) Cascading Hearts was printed and the hearts were colored with glitter pens I received from my son & daughter-in-law for Christmas.  I printed the greeting on pink paper and cut the chevrons with a SU punch.  Then added a bow to finish it off.

SSD Sponsoring Not Just Cards

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge at Not Just Cards this week and the challenge is "Anything Goes."  I have used the Daphne  image and colored her with Copics.  She is cut with a Spellbinders die and layered on purple and yellow cardstock.  Then I punched out the flowers using an EK Success punch in a mod 70's look using the same colors.  Just a few gems for a little sparkle and I know just who needs a birthday card with this image.
