Welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs Blog Hop and New Release.  You should have arrived here from my sassy sister Carrie's blog and if you didn't you really should go to the beginning and see all of the great projects.  I have colored this gorgeous image GOLDIE using Copics and my fussy cutting. I used a die cut from Lea Abilities and then added some pearls, a bow, and a charm.

QKR Stampede has a new Challenge

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is "Baby, Spring, or Congratulations."  I have used "24288 Knitting & Nesting" and colored with Copics and did my favorite fussy cut.   I used the oval Spellbinders die and added some designer paper, a ribbon, and a computer sentiment.  I thought this image was just TOO CUTE!

SSD Sponsoring Paper Crafting Journey

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge this week at Paper Crafing Journey and the challenge is "Perfect in Pink."   I have used the Kutie Kim Roller Girl image and colored her with Copics. She is layered on several layers of designer papers and cardstock.  A bow was added, my sentiment is computer generated and the embellishments are cut from designer papers.

SSD Sponsoring Just inspirational Paper piecing

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge this week at Just Inspirational and the challenge is "Paper Piecing."  I love paper piecing, maybe it reminds me of playing with paper dolls as a child.  I have used the Elizabeth Laura Bennett image and colored it with Copics and did the paper piecing.  She is mounted on several layers of paper and cardstock, then I added a little bouquet of flowers, a bow, and a charm.

Eureka Stamps Masculine or Grungy Challenge

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Masculine or Grungy."  I choose to use several great images this week; I have colored 14202 Baseball Boy & 14203 Soccer Boy    with Copics and did a fussy cut.  I just love my scissors and cutting.  Then I printed up the 36301 When I Grow Up sentiment and mounted it on several layers designer papers of gray and black. Since it is a guy card, I didn't add any extras.  Our school colors are black and gold so I could use this card for several different occasions, but I was thinking of a Father's Day card for a father who was a great athlete, like my dad.  He was actually great in football and baseball; soccer wasn't big here until recent years.

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge this week at Open Minded Crafting and the challenge is "Fairytale/Fantay."  I have used the Holiday Ariel Honey image and colored it with Copics to look like Cinderella because that is the way my grand daughter wanted it and sometimes it's just easier to do it her way.  Anyway this will be her birthday card; she turns 8 in a couple days.  The greeting is computer generated and I have used Spellbinder and Stampin' Up dies, then added some skittles and tiny pearls and stars for some bling.  Happy Birthday Thianna, this card is for you.

SSD Flashback Friday

Sassy Studio Designs has a new Flashback Friday and this week were are featuring Pregnant Pin Up.  This image is on sale at the SSD Store for one week only. I have colored her using Copics and fussy cut her out and mounted her on several layers of designer papers and cardstock.  I added a bow, some flowers from my stash, and a sentiment that is stamped and punched using my Stampin' Up supplies.

Birthdays Challenge at Eureka Stamps.

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Birthdays."  I have colored this great image 56401 Hummingbird Birthday with Copics.  Actually I colored it twice, mostly using just a little different lavender  colors each time.  Then just added layers of paper because this image comes with the Happy Birthday already on it.  I didn't think it even needed any extra embellishments.

QKR Stampede Challenge #88

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Punch and/or Dies."  I have used "19701 Flower Blossom" and colored it with Copics. This image colored up so easy that I have actually done it several more times, both with Copics and also with colored pencils. I used a Spellbinders die to cut it out, and also the quick little hello was also cut out using a Spellbinders die.  I added a bow and some fancy brads to finish it off.

Glowing Gwen

Sassy Studio Designs has another "Flashback Friday" and this week and we are using "Glowing Gwen" and  she is available at the SSD Store for a discounted price for only 1 week  so get her while you can.  I have colored her with Copics and added some ribbon, a rose, and a quick sentiment.  This will make a great card for the baby shower I have on Saturday.

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Up In The Air."  I have colored this great image "14002 Swingin"  with Copics, and then cut it out with a Spellbinders die.  It's layered on green and blue cardstock and some candy dots added.  My computer generated sentiment is also cut using a spellbinders die.  As a child I loved to swing and my hair flew in the breeze just the same as this image; great memories.

#1 Mom

Sassy Studio Designs has something new; starting this week we are having "Flashback Friday" and this week and we are using #1 Mom and jut in time for Mother's Day she is available at the SSD Store for a discounted price for a short time so get her while you can.  I have colored her with Copics and used Spellbinder dies to cut her out and layer her.  Then a Marianne Designs die for the swirls around the outside.  And just a few gems to set it all off.

Happy Birthday

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Anything Goes with a twist of Gems or Rhinestones  ."  I have used "Blue Jays " and colored with Copics.  I have added some Rhinestone bling just because and I think it looks like he is singing Happy Birthday. Then I added some black rhinestones for the eyes.  I can always use another birthday card.

QKR Stampede Mother's Day Cards

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Mother's Day ."  I have used "17050 Rose" and colored with Copics, fussy cut, and mounted on a die cut from Joy Craft. Then added a ribbon that I Stamped a Stampin' Up sentiment on.  This image colored up so quick and makes a great card.

Wedding Card

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring a couple of challenges this week; first is Creative Knockout and their challenge is "Flowers Galore" and then CRAFT and their challenge is "make your own embellishments."  I have used the Sexy Bride image and colored her with Copics and added Stickles.  I made the flowers with the button centers from crochet thread and I tied the bow, I'm hopping that counts too.  The papers are fr my stash and the die cut is from Marianne Designs.  I'm not sure if 2 flowers count as flowers galore,but it's worth a try.
