Welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs Blog Hop and New Release.  You should have arrived here from my Sassy Sister Jackie's Blog and if you didn't you should go to the beginning and see all of the great projects.  I have used the Lincoln Sentimint.  I printed it and then embossed it using a SU embossing folder.  The background is also embossed with another folder.  Then I added the paper flowers and a bow from my stash.

Stop by Sassy Studio Designs and buy a Sentimint or 2 and make a great project. Before you hop along to your next stop, which is another sassy sister Debbie, be sure to leave me a comment for a chance to win this sentimint. Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Friends."  I have colored this great image "47501 - Best Friends" with Copics.  And layered it with couple of designer papers and cardstock, then used SU dies for the sentiments "25802 - Friends Are Blossoms & 24605 - I Cherish" and added some candy dots to finish it off.

QKR Stampede Challenge #92 Anything Goes

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Anything Goes."  I have used "14502 Mare & Foal" and colored using with colored pencils.   When I was kid we used to have buckskin horses and I was trying to make this look like buckskins.  I think it would make a great Father's Day card for my dad.  Kind of remembering the good old days.  The edges have been torn and distressed. Then I added a computer generated greeting and pieces of die cuts from Marianne Designs and Spellbinders.

Sassy Studio Designs For the Man Challenge

Sassy Studio Designs has a new challenge up this week and the challenge is "For the Man."  I have used the Sassy Nurse image and colored her with Copics. Lately I have been going for a more simple look, mostly because I moved my supplies trying to keep my dinning room table cleared. LOL  Now I have to go from room to room to gather and that isn't working either.  I am dreaming of a craft room or even a good craft space.  Back to my card, I used a SU punch on the edge of the red background and the sentiment, then added a bow.

Eureka Stamps Thank You Challenge

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Thank You."  I have used this digi Thank You image #5101.  No coloring on this card and that makes it quick and quite easy.  I printed on a beige cardstock and layered it on dark brown.  The brown layer was ran through a striped embossing folder from Stampin' Up and also layered on dark brown.  Then added my bow with ribbon from SU. But wait that was too easy, so I thought I had better do a couple more versions.  Check them out below.

This version just has the addition of a flower.

This version is done in brown and blue and the image is printed on a light blue and the dark blue is embossed using another SU folder. Then I added some wooden flowers from my stash and another bow. Stop by Eureka Stamps and join in this challenge we would love to have you join us and if you use one of the great images from the store you could win more.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.  I will be entering this card in the following challenges...

QKR Stampede Challenge #91 Father's Day

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Father's Day."  I have used "13905 Carpenter " and colored with Copics.  It is layered on papers and cardstock from my stash and the greeting was made using stickers also from my stash.  I had so much fun coloring this great image that I did it twice and I couldn't decide which I liked best so I made both colored images into cards.

So for the second version is also colored with Copics and I did a little recycling and used a piece of cardboard packaging from a tool my husband had bought. (the red stripes were just the perfect color) The sentiment for this card is made from more stickers, each letter is some form of a tool.

Summer Fun

Sassy Studio Designs has a new challenge up this week and the challenge is "Summer Fun."  I have used the Beach Resort image and colored her with Copics.  The top area is cut using a Spellbinder die and an out of the box technique and the legs are fussy cut.  I found some great summer/beach papers and cut some of the images out to use as my accents.  My sentiment is computer generated and punched with a Stampin' Up punch. Then I added a burlap bow.
